PURPOSE:To prevent irregular steamed cooking due to the muddiness of hot water by providing an arithmetic means for inputting information detected with a detecting device for sensing the muddiness of reserved water and outputting a control signal, and a steamed cooking means for steaming and cooking grains containing absorbed hot water. CONSTITUTION:Rice preliminarily impregnated with water is carried on a conveyor 8 and the rice supplied to a steaming chamber 9 via a steam feed device 10 and heated therein is supplied from the carriage end of the conveyor 8 to a water reservoir 1 via a raking and discharge body 18. The rice while absorbing high temperature water in the tank 1 is carried to the side of the second steaming and cooking device 7 via the presser 14 of a grain carriage device 2. Furthermore, the rice is supplied to a steaming chamber 16 via a steam feed device 17, and steamed and cooked. In a conveyor 15, an agitator 19 stirs the rice and the stagnation thereof does not occur, thereby ensuring the uninterrupted flow of steam. Furthermore, a detecting means 3 senses the muddiness of hot water stagnating in the water reservoir 1 before cooking or during cooking, and when a set value is 'larger' than the detected value, information related thereto is outputted by an annunciator 25 via an output interface 23. As a result, a worker discharges reserved hot water from the water reservoir 1, and heat insulating tanks 11 and 12, and then supplies fresh hot water. |
