PURPOSE:To enable to freely set the average heating function of a thermopile and its temperature dependence by forming the thermopile with at least more than two types of thermocouples. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of thermocouples AB made of thermocouple strands A, B and three pairs of thermocouples BC made of thermocouple strands B, C are connected in series with each other, and positive and negative lead wirings are formed of strands A. If the thermopile TP is regarded an an electric circuit network, an equivalent circuit can be formed, and the output can be readily raised. That is, the strands are so selected that the magnitude of the latent reference thermoelectric power of thermocouple strands become A>B, C>B. When the thermopile TP thus constructed and thermal resistors are associated, the sensitivity can be freely set, and the thermal stream sensor which is not affected by the influence of the temperature variations in the sensitivity can be readily obtained. |
