PURPOSE:To recover potential heat of waste gas and to reduce ventilation trouble by passing dust-laden gas through the moving layer of the raw material pellets which has been formed in a hopper, preheating and drying the raw material pellets and also collecting dust from the dust-laden gas. CONSTITUTION:The moving layer 3 of the raw material pellets is formed in the hopper 5 of a Lepol Kiln or a shaft kiln. Dust-laden gas is introduced into this moving layer 3 through an introduction pipe 1 and the raw material pellets are predried. Dust incorporated in the dust-laden gas is removed together therewith and clarified gas is discharged through a discharge pipe 8. |
