PURPOSE:To obtain easy fastening of a cover even when the pinion diameter is larger than the clutch-outer diameter, by inserting a mandrel into a through hole in a pinion and supporting a cover by the pushing pressure together with caulking the tip portion of a cylindrical part of the cover. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 113 is made in a pinion 11', whose diameter is larger than that of a clutch-outer 4. A mandrel 16 is inserted into this through hole 113 so that the bottom surface 103 of a cover 10' is pushed against the end surface of the clutch-outer 4. Next, the tip portion of a cylindrical part 101 of the cover 10' is folded by means of a caulking jig 17, and the cover 10' is fixed through caulking to the outer periphery of the cylindrical part 101 of the clutch-outer 4. |
