PURPOSE:To enable the maintenance of an excellent liquid leakage resisting performance by disposing a battery in case with flange within a battery case. CONSTITUTION:A generating element consisting of a positive electrode 4, a negative electrode 6, and a separator 6 holding an electrolyte is sealed by a sealing plate 1, a battery case 2 and a gasket disposed between them. In this case, a battery in case with flange 8 is provided, with the upper plane part 9 thereof contacting with the bottom part of the gasket 3 and the lower plane part 10 thereof with the inner bottom face of the battery case 2. Namely, the battery-in case 8 is corresponded by making the upper plane part 9 in contact with the gasket bottom surface and the lower plane part 10 in contact with the battery case inner bottom surface, and changing the dimension of the pole part 11 to the battery thickness. Hence, an excellent liquid leakage resistance can be maintained regardless of the battery thickness. |
