PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation period accuracy of the positioning control (stop) of a changer mechanism (recording medium conveying means) by comparing a detecting signal sent from a detecting means which detects the movable condition of a control member with data sent from a computer, and controlling the movement of the control member. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously when stop position data A of a changer mechanism 6 are sent from a computer 1, the computer comparatively operate the position of a key input instruction and the position where the changer mechanism 6 currently exists, and instructions (cw and ccw) of the direction to be moved are given to a latch circuit 13 to drive a motor 7 and a mechanism operating timer 12. When a detected part 8 faces a sensor 9 by movement and a position detecting signal B sent from the sensor 9 corresponds to the stop position data A, a comparator 10 is outputted, the latch circuit 13 is reset, and the motor 7 is stopped. Thus, the control member can be controlled at the stable accuracy at any time.
