Antihypertensive phosphate derivatives having the following formula: <IMAGE> wherein X is selected from one or more of C1-C24 alkyl; C1-C24 alkoxy; n and m are integers from 0 to 25 and the sum of which are less than or equal to 25; phenyl or substituted phenyl alkoxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, phenyl, and substituted phenyl, phenoxy; and substituted phenoxy, wherein the substituents are C1-C20 branched or straight chain alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, phenyl and substituted phenyl; Q is selected from <IMAGE> and -OR3 R1 is selected form hydrogen, C1-C4 alkoxy and C1-C4 alklyamino and R3 is C1-C4 alkyl, with the provision that when Q is <IMAGE> R1 is C1-C4 branched or straight chain alkyl; T is a bivalent radical selected from alkylene or arylalkylene substituted at any position with one or more C1-C10 alkyl with oxygen atom attached directly to the aromatic ring; Z is <IMAGE> R2 is hydrogen or C1-C4 branched straight chain alkyl; Q is an integer from 4-7.
