<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the treatment of jamming and to prevent the generation of image turbulence by a method wherein the first member of a developing means is arranged on the side of the first housing and the second member thereof is arranged on the side of the second housing and a recording medium is fed by predetermined quantity when the first and second housing are closed by the signal from the aforementioned first housing. CONSTITUTION:When a recording medium 1 generates jamming, a latch is released and the first housing M1 is rotated to be opened. Since guide rollers 3a, 3c, 3d and a guide plate 3b are provided in the first housing M1, the feed route of the recording medium 1 is largely opened. Further, the drive roller 5a and follower roller 5b of a developing means 5 are separated largely from each other and the pressure contact state of both rollers is also released and the recording medium 1 is exposed to make it possible to easily treat jamming. When the first housing M1 is closed after the treatment of jamming, a reset switch 15 detects this state and a control part sends out a signal upon the reception of the detection signal to drive a feed motor 24 by definite quantity.</p> |
