<p>PURPOSE:To accurately perform the coordinate input processing at a high speed by using two kinds of cursors, namely, a real cursor and ghost cursor and arbitrarily setting the number of cursors to be used, movement characteristics, etc., in accordance with the display mode at the time of data processing. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input device consists of a pointing device 1 like a mouse, its interface part 2, a pointing device movement extent storage means 3, a cursor movement rate storage means 4, a cursor display position storage means 5, a coordinate calculating means 6, a cursor number storage means 7, a cursor display control means 8 of a display monitor 11, a cursor selecting means 9, a cursor joining means 10, and a cursor number storage means 12. Two or more cursors moved in accordance with the pointing device 1 are displayed on the screen of a picture monitor, and the direction or the speed of movement of each of these cursors are arbitrarily set. Thus, plural cursors are moved at speeds based on preliminarily set and stored data at through moved simultaneously.</p> |
