The invention relates to individual heating discs which can be placed under each plate of a dining table for keeping them at a constant temperature throughout the duration of meals. The device comprises heating discs of small thickness, of approximately 15 cm in diameter, which are fitted with an electrical heating element 4 connected to a two-wire 24-volt power supply by virtue of cold flexible and flat connecting leads 2. The heating discs may be grouped together in variable quantities in order to match the number and the layout of the plates, regardless of the shape of the table. <IMAGE>
