The plasma panel of the invention comprises writing electrodes (X1 to X6) crossed with parallel electrodes forming pairs (p1 to p6) of refresh electrodes. Each electrode pair (p1 to p6) comprises an electrode of a first family (Y1 to Y6) of the addressing-refresh type, and an electrode of a second family (E1 to E6) of the merely refresh type. According to a characteristic of the invention, the refresh electrodes (Y1 to Y6 and E1 to E6) are disposed according to a succession of two electrodes (E1 to E6) of the second family, followed by two electrodes of the first family (Y1 to Y6). The electrodes of the second family are brought to a same potential, and, in consequence the effect of this disposition is to do away with the lateral capacitors (C1) formed, in the prior art, between two successive pairs (p1 to p6) of electrodes. <IMAGE>
