PURPOSE:To accurately measure area and position of fluidized range and to execute stable operation in a blast furnace by photographing surface of raw material in the blast furnace and operating a movable armor based on the signal. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the raw material in the blast furnace is photographed with a camera at furnace top opening part in the blast furnace. Based on this image pickup signal, the movable armor is operated so as to become in the range of 0.2-0.4 of the fluidized area ratio of the raw material in the blast furnace and <=0.1 of center position of the fluidized range. For example, in case the center position of the fluidized range displaces, the movable armor at this side is operated and the discharged raw material is shifted to the center part in the blast furnace. By this method, gas flowing distribution in the blast furnace is uniformized and the operation is stabilized. |
