<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a device by precisely recording cuff pressure by connecting a main air passage to an air connector main body provided with a cavity and airtightly adhering a pressure sensor to the cavity. CONSTITUTION: A cuff connector is led into a groove 4 at a main body 1 of air connector. The cuff connector is connected through a tube to a cuff attached around the arm of a patient. Besides, a pump is connected to a tube nozzle 5 at the main body 1 of connector. The main air passage inside the main body 1 of connector formed from connection ducts 6 and 7 and the groove 4 connects the nozzle 5 and the cuff connector. The main body 1 of connector is provided with cavities 8 and 9 for further inserting a differential pressure sensor. With this sensor, cuff pressure is monitored.</p> |
