PURPOSE:To maintain ratio of layer thicknesses of ore and coke to the prescribed range and to execute stable operation in a blast furnace by photographing the charging material in the furnace at each part in the furnace top opening part, computing the ratio of the layer thicknesses of the ore and coke and operating a movable armor based on this. CONSTITUTION:The charging material in the furnace at center part of the furnace top opening part, intermediate part and circumferential part is photographed with a camera 2 at the furnace top opening part in the blast furnace. Measuring point of the ore 1 at each posit ion, distance L1 between the measuring point at each part and the camera 2 and inclining angle theta1 of the camera 2 are calculated. These calculation are executed in the same way at the time of charging the coke 3 to be charged in next time of the charged ore 1, to obtain the above distance L2 and the inclining angle theta2. The layer thicknesses lo, lc of the ore 1 and the coke 3 at each part are computed and the ratio of the layer thicknesses (O/C) of the ore 1 and coke 3 is computed. The movable armor is operated so that O/C ratio range at each part becomes 0.5-0.7 at the center part, 1.2-1.4 at the intermediate part and 0.9-1.1 at the circumferential part. By this method, number of slipping and coke ratio can be reduced. |
