PURPOSE: To suppress a blood vessel from being damaged by shear force when pulling out a catheter by providing an instrument attachable at the near end of the catheter to be gripped by a doctor when pulling out the catheter. CONSTITUTION: By pulling a handle member 23, the user can adjust a cap 22 so as to slip a catheter 13 with desired force as indicated by a scale 27 and a pointer 28. When link parts 15 are once adjusted, a balloon section 35 of the catheter 13 is moved forward to the far position of a seal 36 inside a blood vessel 16. Next, the balloon section 35 is expanded and the user pulls the handle member 23 so that the catheter 13 can be pulled out. Because of this force, a spring member 25 is extended and the handle member 23 is axially moved from a main body member 18 to a position showing the quantity of applied force. This position is indicated by the scale 27 and the pointer 28 and the applied force is indicated so as to be visually recognized. |
