PURPOSE:To obtain an active material consisting essentially of animal bone preventing putrefaction of foods, having sufficient effect on preservation of freshness free from toxicity to human body by kneading baked and ground animal powder with soil powder having binding properties and baking. CONSTITUTION:Raw bone of animal consisting essentially of hard bone of cattle, horse, sheep, etc., is cut into a proper size, put in a pressure pot and boiled at about 200-400 deg.C for about 90 minutes. Then the boiled bone is fed to a baking furnace, baked at 800-1,200 deg.C for 60-180 minutes, naturally cooled in the furnace for about 60 minutes and returned to room temperature or a state close to the temperature. The treated bone is ground and made into 20-200 meshes powder by a powdering machine. Then a mixture of 60-90wt.% of he powder and 10-40wt.% binding soil powder is blended with 20-30wt.% water and uniformly kneaded. Then the blend is molded into a spherical shape having 1-20mm diameter by a granulator or lamellar or cylindrical shape having about 5-10mm thickness and about 50mm square and baked at 800-1,000 deg.C for 1-2 hours to give the aimed active material consisting essentially of animal bone. |
