<p>Disclosed herein is a photochromic compound comprising a spirooxazine compound represented by the following general formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> means an alkyl, allyl or alkoxyalkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl or aryloxyalkyl group, R<2> and R<3> individually denote a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, R<4>, R<5>, R<6> and R<7> stand individually for a hydrogen or halogen atom, or an alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, alkoxyalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted amino group. A photochromic composition comprising the photochromic compound and a phenol derivative, fluorine-containing alcohol or hindered amine type light stabilizer is also disclosed.</p> |
