PURPOSE: To prevent a staple forming track from being clogged with additional staples by allowing the once arrangement of only one staple from a staple stack inside the staple forming track while using a holding means. CONSTITUTION: When moving a driver 18 from an anvil forming surface 20 to a non-contact position, a flexible tab 30 moves to a staple forming track 14 once more. The flexible tab 30 is positioned again just under a convergent point between a skin staple stack 12 and the staple forming track 14. Therefore, the driver 18 passes mover an opening at the skin staple stack 12. Based on this movement of the driver 18, the spring means of the skin staple stack 12 forcedly moves a new staple 16 to the staple forming track 14. Since the flexible tab 30 exists at such a position, only one staple 16 is positioned on the staple forming track 14. Thus, the staple is accurately and effectively driven without the clogging of staples inside the staple forming track 14. |
