PURPOSE: To earlier avoid a symptomatic excessive torque by using a difference between an acceleration of a drive wheel speed and a vehicle vertical acceleration obtained as a control amount of an advance driving control device when a vehicle speed is below a specified threshold value. CONSTITUTION: General speed sensors SVL and SVR and a highly accurate speed sensor SH are installed on front driven wheels and a rear drive wheel, respectively, and these output signals are fed to a front wheel drive control electronic circuit ES through a signal processing circuit SA. Also, an acceleration signal formed by differentiating each wheel speed signal by a differentiator is input into the electronic circuit ES. In addition, for example, an instantaneous vehicle speed led by the rotating speed signal from a front left wheel is compared with a threshold value VS (for example, 5 km/h) by a comparator K. When the instantaneous vehicle speed is smaller than the threshold value VS, a signal L is fed so as to set a switch contact G and a switchover contact U as shown in the figure, and an output difference between the differentiator D and a vehicle vertical acceleration sensor B is used as the control amount of an advance driving control device.
