<p>PURPOSE:To easily retrieve a graphic and reduce the fatigue of the eye even when a scrolling speed is fast by erasing specific information when moving (scrolling) an area where the graphic is displayed. CONSTITUTION:A display device 1 is provided with plural frame memories 5, some or all of which are provided with a readout mask circuit for inhibiting the frame memories 5 to be read; when scrolling is performed, a graphic which need not be displayed for graphic retrieval and a necessary graphic are developed on different frame memories 5. Then when the scrolling is performed, the frame memory 5 is masked to reduce the quantity of display graphics. Consequently, specific graphic information is erased in the graphic form scrolling, so the display graphic quantity decreases and a flicker of the display graphic in the scrolling is reduced, and an object graphic of retrieval is easily found and operator's operability is improved.</p> |
