<p>PURPOSE:To reduce current consumption by utilizing the high impedance state of a 3-state buffer to disconnect a circuit block. CONSTITUTION:The title information apparatus is constituted of a main device such as a computer, the 3-state buffer 2, a driving circuit 3 for a display device 4 such as a CRT, and a liquid crystal display device 5 and the CRT 4 selects the device 5 through a display device selecting switch S1. Said buffer 2 is constituted so that an unnecessary circuit block is disconnected when the apparatus is switched to a power supply whose capacity is restricted. Thus, power consumption can be reduced and the high impedance state can be obtained synchronously with the switching of the switch S1, so that instantaneousness, safeness and efficiency can be guaranteed.</p> |
