PURPOSE:To transfer a sharp recording image having no flaw even to receiving paper low in smoothness by utilizing a specific polymer by combining the same with an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic ink release layer 2 is provided on a support 1 and a thermoplastic ink layer 3 is further provided thereon. The ink layer 3 is based on a colorant, a polystyrene/polyisoprene/polystyrene and/or polystyrene/polybutadiene/polystyrene copolymer and an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (containing 20-35wt.% of vinyl acetate) and/or ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer (containing 20-35wt.% of ethyl acrylate) having a melt index of 50-2,500. By this ink layer 3, a transfer image can be closely adhered to the uneven surface of rough paper sufficiently and printing quality can be enhanced. Further, the thermoplastic ink release layer 2 smoothly performs the release and transfer between the support 1 and the ink layer 3. |
