PURPOSE:To stably obtain an image having good image quality by setting the weight ratio of an external additive of the toner for supplying at the initial time to a granular toner material larger than the weight ratio of the external additive of the toner for replenishing to the granular toner material. CONSTITUTION:The weight ratio of the external additive of the toner for supplying at the initial time is set larger than the weight ratio of the external additive of the toner for replenishing to the granular toner material. The extreme increase in the toner concn. in a developing tank is, therefore, suppressed even after many times of copying if the toner for replenishment is supplied to the developing tank of the electrophotographic device according to the consumption of the toner after the toner for supplying at the initial time is previously supplied to the developing tank.
