<p>PURPOSE: To hold the cuff of a tonometer at a proper position for a long time by attaching a harness to the cuff of the tonometer and extending the harness to the shoulder of a user so that the weight of the cuff can be loaded onto the shoulder. CONSTITUTION: A harness 10 has a cuff holding member 12 and a shoulder supporting member 14. Supporting arms 16 and 18 are connected to respective adjusting sliders 22 and 23 and the length of supporting arms 16 and 18 can be adjusted. The supporting arm 18 is connected to a metal hook 21 and extended from the front side of an arm to the shoulder of the user. Similarly, the supporting arm 16 is attached to the rear part of the tonometer cuff by a metal hook 20 and extended from the tonometer cuff through the back of the arm to the shoulder of the user. Two supporting arms are coupled on the shoulder of the user by a connecting part 26 on the tonometer cuff. A strap 30 is connected to the connecting part 26 and linked through a fastener to the cuff holding member 12. Thus, the cuff holding member 12 is held at the proper and comfortable position on the shoulder of the user for a long time.</p> |
