Mast receptacle for a sailboard

For the purpose of improved trim characteristics (properties), easier handling, attachment of the boom to the mast in a manner gentle on the mast, and the best possible pressure distribution at the point of attachment of the boom to the mast despite varying clew height for different sails, a mast holding sleeve is proposed which is mounted rotatably on a front part of the boom. A clamping bracket is fastened on the mast holding sleeve and can be rotated therewith on the front part of the boom.
