<p>The installation comprises two clamping devices (2, 3) the first of which is mounted on a frame (1) in a rigid manner and the second one on rods (7) secured by their ends to upsetting hydraulic cylinders (6) with the possibility of reciprocal movements. Each device (2, 3) has a base (5) and a cap (8) hingedly connected to it and moved by means of a hydraulic cylinder, the casing (25) of which is hingedly connected to the base (5), whereas the rod (26) is connected to the cap (8) with which interacts a pressure roller (14) when the parts (4) are clamped. The installation is provided with a lock (15) consisting of an L-shaped lever and with an arrangement (35) for correcting the coaxiality of the parts to be welded, as well as with an arrangement (19) for setting the working gap, consisting of a plunger (20) and a coaxially-mounted adjustable stop (21).</p> |
