PURPOSE:To obtain the subject textured yarn, especially good in gloss and suitable as nylon shear type torque textured yarns for stockings by providing twisting direction in friction-false twist texturing opposite to the twisting direction of a specific polyamide-based synthetic filament yarn. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide-based synthetic fiber filament yarn, having >=2.8 relative viscosity and consisting of 1-3 modified cross section filaments of 5-20 total denier is twisted at 5,000-1,000 twist coefficient in the friction-false twist texturing. In the process, the twisting direction in friction-false twist texturing is opposite to the twisting direction of the above-mentioned polyamide-based synthetic fiber filament yarn to afford the objective textured yarn, excellent in durability and transparency and capable of producing good textured yarns while stabilizing the number of false twists. |
