CARRIER-SUPPORTED CATALYST FOR MAKING MONOCARBOXYLIC ANHYDRIDES Carrier-supported catalyst for making monocarboxylic anhydrides by subjecting a suitable ester or ether to a carbonylation reaction. The carrier-supported catalyst has an organosilicon compound containing an alkoxy or halogen group and also an organonitrogen, organophosphorus, organoarsenic, organosulfur, mercapto or thioether group as a polyfunctional adhesion promoter additively combined with the carrier material on the one hand, and with a nickel compound, on the other hand.
