<p>PURPOSE:To automatically calculate correction for a target position in corresponding to the radio characteristics peculiar to a radome by additionally providing a storing section which stores correction data for target tracking errors caused by the radome to the radome itself. CONSTITUTION:The system used for this method is constituted of a radome 1, radar equipment 2, correction calculating section 3 incorporated in the equipment 2, correction data storing section 4 fitted to the radome 1, connector 6 connected with the storing section 4 with a cable, and correction data reading section 7. The storing section 4 fitted to the radome 1 stores correction data for correcting the target detecting angle error of the radar equipment 2 caused by the radio characteristics peculiar to the radome 1. The connector 6 is connected to the storing section 4 through the cable and, by connecting the connector 6 with the equipment 2, the correction data are fetched into the calculating section 3 through the reading section 7. The calculating section 3 calculates and corrects the error in a target detecting angle based on the correction data fetched from the storing section 4.</p> |
