<p>PURPOSE:To grasp the accurate slack value of a tape by detecting the revolutions of a supply reel, a take-up reel and a capstan via a detector and calculating the tape slack value from the detection output of the detector. CONSTITUTION:The revolving position detecting mechanisms 20 and 21 are added to a supply reel part 2 and a take-up reel part 3 of a cassette 13 respectively. At the same time, a revolution detector 18 is prepared for detection of revolution of a capstan. A pulse generating 24 produces the pulse waves based on the signals detected by the mechanisms 20 and 21 and the detector 18. Then a tape slack value arithmetic means 22 obtains the tape slack value from the output of the circuit 24. Thus the accurate tape slack value is simply obtained and the cost is reduced for a magnetic recording/reproducing device.</p> |
