The optical sight device makes it possible to increase the optical transmission quality by avoiding the formation of turbulence within the field of view at high speeds. A deflection device for deflecting the air flow striations (2) is arranged within the zone where turbulence can be formed and has a profile (2a) in the form of a post in order to repel the air flow striations laterally. In the case of a transparent flat wall (V3) through which the visual detection in this zone extends, the deflection device may consist of an attached plate (2), which is joined to the wall (V3) or is arranged in its vicinity. The invention can be used especially on sight devices which are carried on board within a dome, in order to improve the sight detection to the rear. <IMAGE>
