PURPOSE:To obtain a high driving force at a low speed by disposing a laminated piezoelectric ceramic actuator shrinkable in nonresonance on the top of the center of a rectangular flat plate vibrator operating in a secondary longitudinal vibration mode. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric ceramic plates 4 so adhere to both flat faces of a vibration plate 5 made of a stainless steel as to be longitudinally excited to form a rectangular flat plate vibrator. A laminated piezoelectric ceramic actuator 2 for generating a vertical displacement so adheres to the flat face of a member 7 that the actuator 2 is disposed at the center of the flat face of the vibrator disposed fixedly, and is brought into pressure contact with a metal roller 3. The vibrator is placed on a silicone rubber 6, and the roller 3 is rotated by applying voltages of the same frequency independently to both. The rotating direction of the roller 3 can be reversed by converting the phase difference of the displacement of the actuator 2 at 180 degrees. |
