<p>The air conditioning device, especially for railway vehicles (2), comprises a fan (1) blowing cold or heated air into a conduit (4).
<??>The conduit (4) opens out, at its upper part, into a space defined by two parallel walls (8, 9) adjacent to the lateral face (5) of the vehicle (2). This space (7) has openings (10) situated substantially at the level of the windows (11) of the vehicle. The conduit (4) has, on its lateral face, an air-outlet passage (13) extending over the entire length of the vehicle, and the wall (9), adjacent to the inside of the vehicle of the abovementioned space (7) has, near the conduit (4), a slot (6) through which the air contained in the vehicle (2) is drawn.
