PURPOSE:To improve capacity of a nickel/zinc battery in accordance with charging/discharging cycle by employing a separator with minute circular or elliptical aperture. CONSTITUTION:A three dimensional separator with circular or elliptical apertures is employed. Dendrite-like electrodeposition or deformation of zinc of a zinc electrode is thus extremely restricted, further gas absorbing performance is improved. Here in this case, the diameter of the aperture is set more than 1mu, porosity more than 50% and the thickness 5 to 50mu. |
