PURPOSE:To rapidly regulate combustion air blowing amount in response to variations in a flame due to alteration of charging amount of article to be incinerated by imaging the interior of a furnace of a fluidized bed type incinerator, processing the imaged picture, recognizing the size and color of the flame, and regulating the combustion air blowing amount into the furnace on the basis of the recognition. CONSTITUTION:A picture processor 21 recognizes variations in a flame when a large quantity of article to be incinerated is charged from a picture imaged by a television camera 30. When it is input to a computer 22, the computer 22 immediately outputs a control signal to a damper 12 to largely open the damper 12, and opens the closed damper 12 in a predetermined opening. Thus, secondary combustion air blowing amount to be blown into a furnace 1 by a secondary blower 8 is rapidly increased, and part of the primary combustion air fed under pressure by a primary blower 6 is blown as secondary combustion air into the furnace 1, thereby accelerating the combustion of decomposed gas generated in a large quantity. |
