PURPOSE:To obtain the simple structure and reduce the dimension and weight by combining a cylindrical housing with an elliptical housing having a piston guide pin guide groove and installing an intake/exhaust passage and a piston in the cylindrical housing. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical housing 18 is assembled with the elliptical housings 1 and 6 having a piston guide pin guide groove 3. A rotor 12 having an intake/ exhaust passage 10 and a piston 8 is installed in the cylindrical housing 18. The piston 8 is moved in reciprocation by the explosion in a combustion chamber 15, and revolves together with the rotor 12. Therefore, the number of constitution parts used for the engine body can be reduced, and the small-sized and lightweight engine can be obtained. |
