PURPOSE:To reduce the reflection damage of a high frequency input and output terminal, which executes the input and output of a signal to a micro-wave and millimeter wave circuit, and the insertion damage of the terminal by providing a taper-shaped conductor part in a connecting part between an unbalance type micro-strip line and a balance type micro-strip line. CONSTITUTION:The terminal is composed of a part 8, in which a conductor 2 is plane, parts 30 and 30', in which the conductor 2 is taper-shaped, and parts 9 and 9', in which there is no conductor 2, on the upper surface of a lead 4. The parts 30 and 30' to have the taper-shaped conductor 2 are the converting parts of a balance type strip line 8 and unbalance type strip lines 9 and 9'. Then, in order to execute gradual conversion from the transmission condition of the unbalance type strip line to the transmission condition of the balance type strip line, reflection is decreased in this connecting part. Then, the reflection damage in the connecting part and the radiation damage in a balance type micro-strip line can be decreased. |
