PURPOSE:To enable cutting under a condition that a specified tension is given to another substance to be cut even if looseness is generated at a part of the substance by giving specified tention independently at every piece number of the substance. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of nip rolls 3 are piece by piece provided according to the specified number (e.g. two) of cut magnetic tapes 9A having specified widths. Each roll 3 is mounted at the tip end of a lever 4 supported swingably at a fixed shaft 5 used as the fulcrum therefor. An air cylinder 8 is connected to one side of each lever 4, while each roll 3 presses a main roll 2 according to the driven of each cylinder 8 and specified tension is given to the tape 9A between both rolls. Next, when one of magnetic tapes 9B is loosened, the pressing action of the roll 3 for retaining the tape 9B is released according to the operation of air cylinder 8, and other tapes are pressed against the main roll 2 continuously and sent out in order. |
