PURPOSE:To prevent refractories from falling off and refractory grains from being included in molten steel by lining tile-like refractories at a specified thickness on the inside of a vessel through adhesives. CONSTITUTION:Tile-like refractories formed at 5-30mm in thickness are lined on the inside of the vessel for molten metal through adhesives. The tile-like refractories obtained by press-forming and drying or burning neutral or basic refractory aggregate are used favorably. In construction the refractories are adhered on the surface of a permanent or a wear brick through adhesives such as refractory mortar or low bulk mortar, etc. In this way, the vessel is prevented from being penetrated by the molten steel or molten slug and can rotate at a high temperature. |
