<p>The doser includes trough and motor driven helical screw transporter shaft (6) with a free-wheel coupling (7). One end of a coupling has a drive spindle (8) eccentric, and hinge connected. Other end of drive spindle is eccentric and hinge connected to drive wheel. The precise dosing arrangement for adding e.g. shell-grit to poultry food includes longitudinal trough with long side walls (1,2) and short side walls (3,4). The walls converge to a trough shaped bottom (5) in which the screw transporter (6) has its shaft ends bearing supported. One shaft end is connected to a freewheel coupling (7) which only transmits rotation in one direction to the screw transporter. A block has an adjustable eccentric position on a large chain wheel (10) which via chain (11) is driven by chain wheel (13).</p> |
