In order that it can also be used in thermally highly loaded cooler regions, it has on the upper side of the plate at least one trough (7) for receiving and securing goods to be cooled which it shields from the hot goods situated above. The cooling gas passage openings (11) open inside the region occupied by the goods to be cooled, which are secured, and open in lateral surfaces (10) of the trough (7) for protection against goods to be coooled passing through.
