In order to create a cutting tool (3) for cutting pieces of long-fibrous materials (2), consisting of a fixed counter-cutter (4), which is formed by a stepped die edge in particular of a press-forming die (5), and of a cutter (6) which is designed so as to be adjustable relative to said press-forming die and which is formed by a die edge of the displaceable part of the press-forming die (8), with which cutting tool a substantially orthogonal cut can be performed on the marginal edge of a relatively thick piece of foamed material (1) and fibre material (2) or merely of fibre material (2), it being intended to exclude the carrying along of fibre material into the cut-edge region and it being intended to permit simple readjustment possibilities in the event of the wear of the cutting edges, it is proposed that the cutting edge of the adjustable cutter (6) be formed by a face which forms an acute angle with the adjusting plane (7) of the cutter (6), this face being arranged, in the cut position, such that it crosses the cutting edge of the counter-cutter (4) at an acute angle. <IMAGE> |
