PURPOSE:To obtain an LED lighting fixture by providing LEDs in recesses of an insulated metal plate provided by draw-machining and bend-machining one edge of the plate. CONSTITUTION:An Al thin plate 12 is draw-machined to provide many recesses 11, a bent section 17 is formed at one end edge. Epoxy resin 13 is overlapped to cover the side walls 14 and bottoms of the recesses 11, Al electrode patterns 15 are formed. LEDs 2 are fitted at the bottoms with a conducting adhesive. Adjacent LEDs 2, resistors 4 and leads 16 are connected with connecting wires 5. They are covered with a light permeating resin layer 6 such as polycarbonate. A light permeating polycarbonate lens plate 3 has convex lenses 31 at directly upper positions of individual recesses 11 of an insulated substrate 1. Assembling can be continuously performed according to this constitution, the substrate is not twisted, the connecting wires are not cut off, the luminescence of the LEDs is efficiently collected by the reflection action on the slant face of the substrate 1 and an action of the lens plate 3 and radiated forward with high illuminance. |
