A transaxle system (1) is provided, wherein power from an engine (6) and an electric motor (4) is individually transmitted to an output shaft (9) on a drive wheel (8) side, and power from the engine (6) is also transmitted to a generator (5). A rotating shaft (4a) of the electric motor (4) is positioned such that there is an interval in the vertical direction with respect to the output shaft (9), and a rotating shaft (5a) of the generator (5) is positioned such that there is an interval in the horizontal direction with respect to the output shaft (9). A clutch (3) is built into the transaxle system (1) and is interposed on a power transmission path from the engine (6) to the output shaft (9), and connects/disconnects the transmission of power from the engine (6). A pump (2) is positioned on the same axis as the axis of rotation of the clutch (3) on a side of the transaxle system (1), and driving pressure for the clutch (3) is generated by power from the output shaft (9). |
