PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing agent for bodies, capable of removing and eliminating unpleasant odor by blending a flavonoid-based compound-containing extract derived from Scutellariae Radix with other ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The objective substance obtained by extracting Scutellariae Radix which is a plant crude drug as a starting raw material by a well-known method to provide an extract containing a flavonoid-based compound and blending the resultant extract as an active ingredient in a medicine, cosmetic or quasi-drug, in detail, a liquid type product for external application or embrocating, powdery, foamy, liquid product of the spray method, creamy or emulsion- like type product, powdery or caky product. The above-mentioned extract has action of deodorizing unpleasant odor, such as odor of amine, ammonia, thioglycolic acid, and deodorizing affected parts, such as hair, skin, armpit, anus, vagina or oral cavity. |
