发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF AMALGAMATED ZINC ALLOY POWDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the content of mercury, suppress the generation of hydrogen gas, and improve corrosion resistance by substituting and depositing nickel on the surface of the zinc alloy powder in an aqueous solution then amalgamating it with a mercury-indium alloy. CONSTITUTION:The zinc alloy powder is added to a solution solved with nickel hydroxide in dilute hydrochloric acid with the concentration of about 10% and stirred, nickel is substituted and deposited on the surface of the zinc alloy powder, thus the enriched phase of nickel is formed on the surface of the zinc alloy powder, then it is washed with water to obtain the nickel-contained zinc alloy powder. The nickel-contained zinc alloy powder is put into the alkaline aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide with the concentration of about 10% and stirred, amalgamation processing is performed with the preset quantity of an indium-mercury alloy, then it is washed with water and dried to obtain the amalgamated zinc alloy powder. The heat treatment is preferably applied after obtaining the nickel-contained zinc alloy powder formed with the enriched phase of nickel on the surface of the zinc alloy powder.
