PURPOSE: To obtain a fungicidal composition containing a 25-azasterol compound and a specific enzyme inhibiting compound and having synergistic effect. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) a compound of the formula (R is H or a lower acyl; X is CH, CH2 or O), e.g. 17β-[[3-(dimethylamino) propyl]methylamino]androst-5-en-3β-ol (25-azacholesterol) and (B) a compound selected from HMG-CoA synthase inhibiting compounds [e.g. 11-[3-(hydroxymethyl)-4-oxo-2-oxetanyl]-7-methyl-2,4-undecadienoic acid],β- ketothiolase inhibiting compounds [e.g. 5-(1-hydroxy-2,4,6-heptatriynyl)-2-oxo-1,3- dioxolane-4-heptanoic acid], HMG-CoA reductase inhibiting compounds (e.g. lovastatin of formula I) and squalene epoxidase inhibiting compounds (e.g. terbinafine of formula II). The amounts of the components A and B in one unit dose are preferably 50-200mg and 100-400mg, respectively.
