PURPOSE:To efficiently and accurately inspect a knowledge base by detecting an error in the description of a rule group stored in the knowledge base only by checking a change of a color displayed on an output device at the time of inspecting the knowledge base in a knowledge processing system. CONSTITUTION:The knowledge processing system is applied to a device for analyzing a power system and a tide condition in the stable state of the system is initially calculated on the basis of the apparatus constants G1-G4 of respective generators 8, generator outputs P1-P4, line constants Z1-Z8, and respective elements in the systems of loads PN1-PN8. In case of inspecting the knowledge base 1 in the stable state, the selection and application condition of rule group having the same shape and color area applied at first, the knowledge base 1 is scanned and rules are outputted on a color display 3. When the outputted shape is changed and a color other than a previously set color appears, the existence of an error in the rules can be simply decided. |
