The mast described, in particular for a sailing boat, consists of at least two elements (1) and (2) suitable for attachment at one of the ends on either side of the longitudinal median plane of the boat, and connected at the other end with or without contact; each of said elements (1) and (2) has a cross-sectional profile of an aerodynamic shape by being fixed at its base and coupled at its top, with the ability to be angularly orientated along a longitudinal axis depending in particular on the direction of the wind in order to obtain the best aeraulic performance of the sail-tackle assembly. |
