PURPOSE:To enable high-efficient play back polishing of a plurality of polishing regions, in specified order being different from a teaching order, according to precision and a finish state, by a method wherein a work is polished in a way that a polishing stone is moved in a polishing region along a stored polishing route. CONSTITUTION:A polishing stones is orderly positioned in a plurality of regions 1-8 containing polishing regions 1-6, and moving routes B-E of the polishing stone between adjoining regions 1-8 and a polishing route A of the polishing stone in the polishing regions 1-6 are stored. The polishing stone is located, in specified order, in the regions 1-8 according to the stored moving routes B-E, and the polishing stone is moved in the polishing regions 1-6 according to the store polishing route A to apply play back polishing on a work. |
